Annotation confidence

An indication of how certain a person or system is about an annotation.

A confidence value is useful only when its meaning is clear. A judge's reported certainty is different from measured agreement with experts or agreement among judges. Validate whether higher confidence actually corresponds to more reliable decisions before using it to route work automatically.

An occluded hand may justify an uncertain action label even when the surrounding frames are clear.
