Sapien AI Corp (“Sapien,” “we,” “us”) is a Canada-based organization that provides data labeling services for fine-tuning AI models. This Privacy Notice applies to the personal data we collect through our sapien.io website and when you use our services.

Typically we act as a data processor for the personal data our Customers may occasionally choose to entrust us with.
You will typically interact with Sapien as an individual affiliated with a Sapien Customer (or prospective Customer), partner, or service provider. You may also interact with us as an individual interested in joining our global labeling network.
In some instances, we may also collect publicly available information that may contain the personal data you have made available online.
We collect your contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number, job title, and location, which you can voluntarily provide through our contact forms when you sign up for our services or when you apply to join our global labeling network. If you apply to join our global labeling network, we will also collect your years of experience with labeling or annotating data, your availability to work, and your field of expertise.
We receive and store the personal data you provide to us when using our services.
For example, we collect commercial information such as records of purchased services, demos carried out, or invoices we send to you. We also collect your billing and payment information to invoice your use of our services.
We collect and process details of your visits to our websites, your use of social media platforms, and other information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies. This personal data includes your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and operating system.
We will keep a record of our interactions, such as email exchanges with our sales or operations team, interactions you have with our employees or representatives (including during conferences), or any interactions with our social media posts.
We will collect any personal data you choose to share with us via our “Schedule a Consult” online form or in your application to join our global labeling network.
We have marked in our online forms any information required for us to process your request, of which we need to provide you with our services. If you choose not to share this information with us, unfortunately, we will not be able to process your request.
Subject to your consent, we will use so-called “cookies” to offer you a comprehensive range of functions and to make using our website more convenient. Following your objection, we shall no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling reasons to continue the processing.
