A record of where data came from and how it changed before reaching its current form.

Lineage connects source files with transformations, annotations, review decisions and dataset versions. It makes corrections traceable and helps reproduce an evaluation. A final quality score is more useful when the team can identify the exact items and processing steps behind it.
