An ordered sequence of states or observations and actions from an agent’s interaction with its environment.
A trajectory records how behavior unfolds over time. Depending on the format, it can include rewards and termination information. Preserve ordering, timing and boundaries when preparing training examples. A fragment should not silently appear to be a complete attempt.
In practice
An episode cut into clips retains the original episode identifier, timestamps and any missing intervals.
