Acceptance criteria
Human judgment
The requirements an item or dataset must meet to be accepted for its intended use.
Criteria can include quality thresholds, required fields, tolerances and rules for unresolved cases. They should be agreed before review and tied to the customer's objective. Reviewer consensus describes the evidence behind a decision; it is not itself the complete definition of acceptable data.
In practice
A team permits a small timing tolerance but requires every success label to be supported by the visible end state.
